New Music Spotlight: Cherish
Thursday June 8, 2006
The subject of this week's New Music Spotlight is the R&B girl group Cherish. The quartet, comprised of Farrah, 22, Neosha, 20, and twins Felisha and Fallon, 18, are all biological sisters from Atlanta. And if they seem familiar, you just might remember the single they released back in 2003 before parting ways with their record label. But now they're back with a new single, "Do It to It," featuring the rapper Sean Paul (the guy from YoungBloodZ, not the dancehall reggae artist). Cherish's debut album, Unappreciated, is scheduled to drop Aug. 15 via their current label, Sho'Nuff/Capitol Records. In the meantime, here's the audio and video streams of "Do It to It."
