New Music Spotlight: Sammie

It's been about six years since the young singer known only as Sammie burst upon the R&B scene as a 12-year-old with the hit single "I Like It." Well, Sammie's 18 now and he's back. After taking time off to attend high school, he's signed with Dallas Austin's Rowdy Records, and just released a comeback single, "You Should Be My Girl" featuring rapper Sean Paul (of the YoungBloodZ) and produced by hitmaker Jazze Pha. Yeah, it IS good to see Sammie doing his thing again. I interviewed him a few days ago and he had a lot of interesting things to say. The interview will be posted here about a week before his new album comes out, so keep an eye out for it. — Nero.
